MANY OF US WILL BE RAPTURED UP AT SOME POINT OR ANOTHER, AS WERE ENOCH AND ELIJAH, BUT COMMON THEOLOGIES ABOUT THE RAPTURE WILL ACTUALLY CAUSE "THE GREAT FALLING AWAY" OF THE CHURCH.

THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH IS ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE...  AT LEAST THE FIRST RAPTURE.  YES, THAT MEANS THERE WILL BE MORE THAN ONE RAPTURE.   THE CHURCH HAS BEEN GREATLY DECEIVED BY THE WISEST MEN AND WOMEN OF THE CHURCH, NOT BECAUSE IT WAS THEIR INTENTION TO DECEIVE, BUT BECAUSE INCOMPLETE REVELATION HAS BEEN TAUGHT AS FULL GOSPEL.  GOD WILL USE FOOLISHNESS TO CONFOUND THE WISE.  THE CHURCH THINKS IT FOOLISH THAT THERE MIGHT BE MORE THAN ONE RAPTURE, BUT THE SCRIPTURES REVEAL THE TRUTH.   THE FIRST RAPTURE WILL SOON TAKE PLACE, AND THE GREAT FALLING AWAY WILL BEGIN SOON AFTER.  THOSE BELIEVERS WHO ARE NOT "TAKEN UP" AT THE FIRST RAPTURE WILL BE OFFENDED BY GOD, AND TURN TO THE WORLD, THE GOVERNMENTS, AND THE ANTICHRIST FOR HELP IN THEIR TIME OF NEED.    THE RAPTURE IS THE MOST WIDELY ARGUED TOPIC IN THE CHURCH.  PEOPLE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN SOMEONE'S OWN PARTIAL REVELATION ARE OFTEN CALLED "DECEIVERS" AND "FALSE PROPHETS" BY THEIR FELLOW BELIEVERS.  BUT THE FULL REVELATION IS RIGHT THERE IN THE SCRIPTURES... IF YOU SEEK GOD AND HIS ANSWERS DILIGENTLY.   SOME PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT THE CHURCH WILL BE RAPTURED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE 7-YEAR TRIBULATION PERIOD (PRE-TRIB), SOME AT THE MIDDLE (MID-TRIB), AND SOME AT THE END (POST-TRIB).  STILL THERE IS ANOTHER BELIEF THAT PLACES THE RAPTURE AT A SHORT TIME BEFORE CHRIST'S RETURN (PRE-WRATH).  THERE ARE YET, AT LEAST TWO MORE THEORIES, THE "ONE-BY-ONE" RAPTURE OF ISAIAH 27, AND THE "CLUSTER RAPTURES" OF REVELATION CHAPTERS 2 & 3.  THE 7TH RAPTURE THEORY (SOMETHING I LIKE TO CALL, "IN CLOUDS") IS THAT EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THESE RAPTURES WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE PROPER TIME, ACCORDING TO GOD'S WILL.   THE TRUTH IS THAT ALL OF THE PRESENT RAPTURE THEORIES ARE TRUE.  EVERY THEORY HAS SOLID BIBLICAL SCRIPTURES TO BACK THEM UP.  SO EITHER THERE IS MORE THAN ONE RAPTURE... OR THE BIBLE IS LYING.    THE MOST WIDELY USED SCRIPTURE TO "BACK UP" EACH INDIVIDUAL THEORY IS 1 THESSALONIANS 4:17.  NO MATTER WHAT THE CONTEXT IS FOR THIS PASSAGE, EVERYONE WANTS TO USE THIS VERSE TO PROVE THAT THEIR ARGUMENT IS RIGHT IN THEIR OWN INDIVIDUAL THEORY.  THE SCRIPTURE SAYS, "THEN WE WHICH ARE ALIVE AND REMAIN SHALL BE CAUGHT UP TOGETHER WITH THEM IN THE CLOUDS, TO MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR: AND SO SHALL WE EVER BE WITH THE LORD."   THERE IS ONE SLIGHT, LITTLE, MINISCULE, PROBLEM WITH THIS TRANSLATION.  THE PHRASE, "IN THE CLOUDS" IS NOT HOW THE SCRIPTURE READS IN THE ORIGINAL GREEK, BUT RATHER, "IN CLOUDS", WHICH INDICATES MULTIPLE RAPTURES.    THE PHRASE, "IN CLOUDS," REVEALS THAT THERE ARE SEPARATE GROUPS OF INDIVIDUALS, MUCH LIKE THE WATER MOLECULES OF ACTUAL CLOUDS, THAT MAKE UP EACH CLOUD.  THE SIMPLE FACT THAT  THE WORD, "CLOUDS" IS PLURAL REVEALS THAT THERE WILL BE MORE THAN ONE INDIVIDUALLY SEPARATED "GROUP" AND NOT JUST ONE GROUP AS A WHOLE.  THIS LITTLE ERROR IN TRANSLATION CHANGES THE ENTIRE MEANING OF THE RAPTURE PROCESS, AND THEREFORE PROVIDES THE ONLY SOLUTION TO THE AGE-OLD ARGUMENT OF WHEN THE ONE AND ONLY RAPTURE WILL TAKE PLACE.   IN FACT, THERE WILL NOT BE JUST ONE RAPTURE, BUT RATHER, WE WHICH ARE ALIVE AND REMAIN WILL BE CAUGHT UP TOGETHER WITH THEM "IN CLOUDS."   AND NOW, THE QUESTION REMAINS... "WHEN WILL I BE RAPTURED?"  I MUST POINT TO REVELATION 2 & 3.  NOTICE, THOSE WHO ARE MOST INTIMATE WITH THE LORD (CHURCH OF PHILADELPHIA) WILL BE KEPT FROM THEIR "HOUR OF TEMPTATION."  INCIDENTALLY, THIS PHRASE ALSO TRANSLATES FROM THE GREEK TO "TIME OF TRIBULATION".    CONVERSELY, THOSE WHO ARE LEAST INTIMATE WITH THE LORD, (CHURCH OF PERGAMOS) JESUS WILL RETURN TO EARTH TO FIGHT AGAINST THEM (REV. 2:16).  WHEN DOES JESUS FIGHT?  AT THE BATTLE OF ARMAGGEDON, WITH THE SWORD OF HIS MOUTH.   THE LUKEWARM CHURCH OF LAODICEA COMPLETELY LACKS INTIMACY WITH THE LORD, AND THEREFORE, WILL WILL BE SPEWED FROM THE HIS MOUTH.  THIS CHURCH WILL NOT BE RAPTURED.   ASK YOURSELF NOW, "WHICH CHURCH DO I BELONG TO?"  AND, "WHEN WILL I BE RAPTURED?",  "OR WILL I BE SPEWED OUT OF HIS MOUTH, BECAUSE I HAVE NO RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM?"    HERE IS WHERE YOU WILL FIND YOUR ANSWER.  HERE IS WHERE YOU WILL DISCOVER IF AND WHEN YOU WILL BE RAPTURED.  HERE IS WHERE YOU WILL INCREASE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.   THE FIRST RAPTURE IS UPON US.  THE TRIBULATION IS UPON US.  JESUS IS COMING.  ARE YOU READY? IF YOU ARE PREPARED FOR THE TRIBULATION, AND PREPARED FOR, BUT NOT DEPENDANT UPON, EACH OF THE INDIVIDUAL RAPTURE THEORIES, YOU WILL NOT BE DECEIVED IF YOU ARE NOT RAPTURED DURING A TIME PERIOD IN WHICH THE CHURCH HAS LONG TAUGHT. YOU WILL ALSO BE A LIGHT IN A DARKENED WORLD TO THOSE WHO DID NOT "WATCH" AS JESUS COMMANDED, THOSE WHO KNEW NOT WHAT WAS COMING AND WHEN. BE AWARE THAT JESUS WILL SOON RETURN, BUT ELIJAH AND THOSE WHO POSSESS THE SPIRIT OF ELIJAH MUST COME BEFORE HIM TO PREPARE THE PEOPLE.

Spirit of Elijah Ministries Statement of Faith: There is only one true God, Who is revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is the Word (Logos) of God. The Word was with God in the beginning, which states His pre-existence as one with God. "By Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth" (Colossians 1:16), therefore making Jesus the Creator. Jesus Christ is the Purpose of God found in all of creation. He is the Father's delight and desire, and the Father is looking for the reflection of His Son in all created things. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. In the beginning, it was the ultimate purpose of God for all things to be summed up in Christ (Ephesians 1:10). Jesus Christ, Who pre-existed with God in the form of God, emptied Himself to become fully a man that He might be the propitiatory sacrifice for the sins of mankind. Through His propitiatory sacrifice made on the cross, all who believe in Him and His sacrifice have their sins remitted and are restored to the fellowship with God lost by man's transgression. Jesus was born of a virgin, by the seed of the Holy Spirit. His virgin birth is a testimony that only the Spirit can beget that which is Spirit. Those of the new creation are not solely of human origin, but are born from above by the Holy Spirit. The resurrection of Jesus' physical body after His crucifixion was literal, as will be the resurrection of both the just and the unjust on the Day of Judgment. "There is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (I Timothy 2:5). All who seek restoration and fellowship with God must go through Jesus and cannot approach God through any person, spirit or doctrine. It is also a supreme presumption for any person or institution to seek to be mediator for others in place of Christ Jesus Himself. The apostolic commission was for His followers to labor until Christ was formed in His church, to present every person complete in Christ, and to manifest the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. When Jesus is lifted up, He will draw all people to Himself. We consider it the primary purpose of the church to esteem and exalt Jesus in every way. It is the focus and devotion of The Spirit of Elijah Ministries to know and preach Him, and not ourselves. We pray for the grace to continually respond to His call to return to our first Love, that we might passionately devote ourselves to pleasing Him in all things while preparing for His return. Our vision is to help people of all ages, nationalities and backgrounds discover a deep, intimate, and personal relationship with God. Our goal is to help strengthen the church by helping believers become the strongest Christians possible. We are committed to truth, as harsh and abrasive as it may sometimes seem. We believe in the literal, physical return of the Lord Jesus Christ to take authority and rule on earth. We believe that those who are alive and remain at the return of our Lord will be changed and caught up to be with Him in the air. Those who have died in the faith will be resurrected and precede those who are alive in being changed and caught up to be with Him. We believe in the literal, physical resurrection of both the just and the unjust for the Day of Judgment. For those of us who have been justified by faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on our behalf, this resurrection is for eternal life in fellowship with God.
